About Drs. Catherine Kyeremanteng:
Dr. Catherine Kyeremanteng is a Psychologist providing psychological assessment and treatment of various neurological and mental health conditions. Her areas of focus are in the assessment and treatment of adults experiencing and adjusting to the physical and emotional effects of injury and disability, including chronic pain, concussion, brain injury, among others. Her approach to therapy is integrative, mostly incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, behavioral therapy, and schema therapy. She emphasizes the importance of the mind-body connection in the experience of and recovery from mental and physical injury. To further support this focus of her practice, she is currently working toward her certification as a yoga instructor.
Dr. Kyeremanteng completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2012 at the University of Ottawa. She trained in adult clinical, rehabilitation, and neuropsychology at several Ottawa area hospitals, including The Ottawa Hospital, The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre, Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital, and the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre. Since completing her training, she has worked in hospital-based rehabilitation and acute care settings, an outpatient primary care setting, and in private practice. She has pursued continued education in a number of areas including neuro-rehabilitation, mindfulness-based therapy, experiential therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Dr. Kyeremanteng is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is a professional member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Ontario Psychological Association.

About Dr. Kwadwo Kyeremanteng:
Dr. Kwadwo Kyeremanteng cares for the sickest of the sick in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Ottawa Hospital. His research focuses on making the ICU more efficient and improving access to palliative care services. To achieve this, he founded the Resource Optimization Network, a multidisciplinary research group working to reduce health spending in this area without compromising care. Dr. K, as he is fondly called, is a leading contributor helping the department to achieve its vision of shaping the future of Medicine.
